Description
This fun and engaging Counseling game is great for teaching kids EMOTIONS and Practicing COPING SKILLS. This game can be played with a small group of 2-4 players, or as part of your individual therapy plan to work on teaching coping skills and emotional regulation. Includes practice cards for different breathing techniques that you can also print out for your students as tools they can have in their classroom.
•To Play:
•Have players start on the START square.
•Start with the youngest player and then students take turns going clockwise.
•Each player takes a turn to roll the die.
•When they land on color, double color, or picture, read a question or prompt from that picture or color’s row and have the student answer the question or do the prompt.
•The player then collects a Flag.
•Continue around the game board until all players have collected 7 flags. (This number can be modified based on the number of players you have and how much time you have in your session. You can also set a timer, and the winner is whoever has the most flags when the time goes off.)
